Why PLEDGE Holidays ?

A pledge is a solemn promise. And Pledge Holiday’s promise to you is that we will work harder and longer to make sure that you enjoy the holiday of a lifetime, one you will look back on for years to come.We are a young company, but our staff have years of experience. That is our mission.Having said that, our staff have the knowledge and wherewithall to offer expert guidance to those of you who may need a little help in deciding how you want to spend your time in Sri Lanka.

Our watchwords are attention to detail, personal service from seasoned travel experts, best value, a commitment to ethical and responsible tourism, and a passion to show the authentic Sri Lanka.Pledge Holidays is a young company, but because of that, we try harder. And above all else, we understand that a promise is a promise.

We Are Different

Many tour companies have fixed itineraries that you must take or leave. We are different. Pledge Holidays offers choice: tailor-made holidays which ensure that you do what you want to do, and see what you want to see.

As a young company, we combine youthful enthusiasm and spirit of enterprise with a clear understanding, born from experience, of what today’s travellers want from their visit to Sri Lanka.

We will benefit from having you here, and hope you will value your time spent with us. We would love for you to look back on your visit in the same spirit that we look forward to seeing you again.

We Are Better

We Sri Lankans are proud of our country. Not in the boastful sense, but because we have succeeded in weaving cultures old and the new into the modern fabric of Sri Lanka’s beautiful and inspiring landscapes.

Pledge Holidays is helping Sri Lanka grow and develop as a top holiday destination. A place where others can experience our Buddhist cultural heritage, our eco-habitats, our peerless nature reserves, our UNESCO World Heritage sites, and our golden beaches.

We don’t have it all, but what we do have is worth seeing. Ours is a beautiful island paradise where dreams—and suntans—are nurtured, and where wonderful memories are born and fostered.

Pledge 3

Pledge 3 in Negombo, 20 minutes from Sri Lanka’s international airport, is a new boutique hotel which, according to a recent CNN Travel report, “screams cutting edge design”. Top travel writer Ian Lloyd Neubauer describes it as “Sri Lanka's most sophisticated hotel, a five-star oasis of luxury and retro style,” and we can’t say better than that. In it’s first six months it shot to the top of TripAdvisor’s rankings, with praise heaped not just on its comfort and ambience, but also a menu that combines matchless innovation and tradition with scope, style and flair. Which, come to think of it, just about sums up the entire hotel. But we don’t rest on our laurels, and constantly seek ways to improve our trend-setting hospitality.

Pledge Escape

Pledge Escape is a planned 32-room de-lux hotel in Negombo, one of Sri Lanka’s top west-coast tourist resorts just 20 minutes from the international airport. This beachside addition to the Pledge portfolio will boast a Skylounge bar atop it seven floors of sea-facing rooms, two of which will have private infinity pools and unparalleled views over the Indian Ocean. All will share the same stellar attention to detail, and all guests will enjoy equal access to the hotel’s shared pool, two restaurants, two bars, and banqueting facilities for 200. Due to open in early 2019, Pledge Escape will create a new quality benchmark for mid-sized hotels, with its emphasis on providing the perfect introduction to all that this paradise island has to offer.

Hush Lagoon 30

The jewel in Negombo’s crown is its spectacular tidal lagoon, fringed by mangroves teeming with wildlife and connected to points north and south by the Dutch (Hamilton) canal, for centuries a major waterway for the island’s famed spice trade.

Now the crown has a new hidden gem in the shape of Hush, a delightfully modern value hotel and restaurant nestled in the seclusion of the lagoon’s eastern shore.

And what a gem it is—small, perfectly formed, and poised to redefine popular mid-market hospitality that lies somewhere between Negombo’s up-market boutique hotels and the resort’s many family-run guest houses.
