Play Golf in Ceylon

At the Airport you will be greeted by our chauffeur guide and take you to Colombo. If time permits you may visit Pettah where you have the vegetable & fruit markets & visit Textile shops as well. If interested visit the Fish Market and the main bus and train terminals, Wolvendhaal Dutch Church, Kelaniya Buddhist Temple, Gotami Vihara, Independence Hall, Hindu Kovil at Slave Island, Colombo Municipal Council, Viharamahadevi Park and other city sites are of interest.

Begin by teeing off on the Colombo golf course, which is over 130 years old, making it the second oldest Royal golf club outside the United Kingdom. Alternatively, if you wish to practice, this is the only course that offers a modern driving range. Enjoy lunch at the colonial style Veranda which is the venue where many a golfing story is related and the achievements and disappointments of golfers were discussed. Play a round of Golf and proceed back to the hotel for your overnight stay.

After Breakfast set off to the inland amusement of Sri Lanka. Over the next few nights, your home away from home will be at the boutique hotel Clingendael, which is a luxury private villa located inside the Victoria Gold Course. During your game over this 18 hole course, which was designed by the British Golf Architects - Donald Steel & Co who have taken full advantage of the terrain incorporating undulating hillside, planted coconut and majestic Jak forests. For the avid golfers you will be happy to know that this course was planted with imported Bermuda grass.

Today morning after Breakfast you may proceed to city of Kandy. Visit the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens, Temple of the Tooth Relic and spend the time in Kandy City and walk to the Market. Fruit stalls selling varieties of Sri Lankan fruits, vegetable stalls with nicely arranged items good for photography or go to the open market area for vegetable sellers and the main street for payment Hawkers & for open shops selling all items), visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and proceed to the city center for a cultural show late in the evening. Back at the Victoria golf course .

From Kandy set off to the cooling breeze of the hill country surrounded by waterfalls. Dickoya, hidden city in the hill country with a colonial history of “ Two Leaves and a bud” and of course Sri Lanka's tea growing region. Arrive at an all-inclusive boutique hotel that is surrounded by a working tea plantation and simply relax. You have the option of playing Tennis at the bungalow premises for a change!!!

Driver towards the Nuwara Eliya city, you may take a break for lunch at the colonial member’s only Hill Club before returning for an afternoon game. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Nuwara Eliya is also called the “little England” and you may enjoy a round of Golf at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club. Return to the hotel for your overnight stay.
